Number one, that was never the point. Secondly, they should be chiding the “Right To Death” crowd for crying wolf all these years about what an undue burden it is and a violation of the rights ofminors. Seems they were either misguided, have terrible judgment, were lying, or all three.
Lastly, I’d say parental “notification” is hardly enough. Before the age of majority, yes, parents should have veto power over such a big decision as abortion. Parents have control over almost every aspect of a teenager’s life because parents are adults, with at least more emotional and psychological, as well as practical maturity than a teenager.
Yes, parents should have control over their child’s major decisions. Abortionists seem to want to give the ‘death exemption’ to their pet cause in every case that comes up concerning killing an unborn CHILD (that’s what it is, a baby, they can’t even say it).
Abortion logic, taken to its extreme, would support killing children after they are born as well. I firmly believe future generations will look back upon this practice as incredible barbarity, mothers intentionally killing their unborn children, just as we look back upon the practice of slavery. That was also a time when human beings were denied their basic humanity. Today we are witness to the government sanctioned slaughter of the innocents.
