All 23 issues of MAD, back when they were in comic book form, which proceeded Mad Magazine. These comics were masterpieces of satire of popular comics, movies, tv, advertising and other cultural icons of the day.
It may be we are reaching the limits of how many sliders you can have on a site before it affects performance. I’m not completely sure why, since it would seem like it wouldn’t load on pages that didn’t have a slider, or many sliders would affect one slider. Maybe it’s the preload. The audio player is hogging resources as well, and it’s only on about a dozen pages on the whole site, which sucks. Something will have to be done. Why does loading the frontpage, which does’t use all this stuff, take so long? Why is the whole fucking site slow and sometimes the server returns 500 when I’m just trying to work on a new post. These mysteries will be examined in the days to come.
