Brent was raised in Dallas TX and played with many bands throughout Texas and Woodland Hills, CA. He moved to Tampa in 1992. Brent has jammed with many famous guitarists and singers, including Les Dudek and Dave Mason.

He played the Tampa Bay club circuit for several years with the popular cover band Smokin' Joe and the Camels.

Recently Brent played a Brother Love reunion concert at the Expo Hall in Ontario, Canada, with original members Micheal Butler and Jasper Borgman.

Brent does a weekly internet radio show, featuring music and interviews from indy bands and major superstars like Cheap Trick. You can check out his latest show at Mevio Radio

Brent names drummers Simon Phillips & John Bonham as major inspirations. Some of the other bands that influenced his playing style include Cheap Trick, Weezer, The Beatles & Nirvana. Some of his favorite albums are Cheap Trick/Cheap Trick, Beatles/Revolver & Sgt. Peppers and Nirvana/Nevermind
