Long time Monty Python fan, loved Matching Tie and Hankerchief since the ’80s (when I became aware of it) then recently I was watching a British movie about WWI called Overlord (1975) and it contained a scene where 2 soldiers were sitting in a field between battles talking about home and the conversation steered toward a confusion between girlfriends, wives and dogs.

During the mid-’90s to the mid-’00s I was single, kidless and spent 10-18 hours a day working on various jobs and projects on the computer. I had a really cool job ’96-’01 working for an online MMORPG, doing graphics, using the map editor to make game maps, writing special events, wtih all the attendant pop-ups, mythology, explanations, quests, prizes and rewards, enemies, allies etc. etc. for special events and the main game.

Classic Joan Rivers bitching about Johnny Carson, who probably did more for her than any person in her career. His sin? Not continuing to prop her up after she stabbed him in the back, publicly and mean-spiritedly, as was her wont.
Many of the commenters laud her as a truth-telling, liberated and empowered woman, and her complaining and victim stance made them “love her even more!”

Sometimes an image is so resonant, so perfectly calibrated and executed that it becomes immediately “viral”. This is one. And being so, it’s got the left scared shitless. So, being effective, it’s of course being labeled racist, as any effective attack on Obama ends up being so described.
Some assholes don’t get it. Obama is the Joker. He wants to tear it all down. He wants to destroy America. He hates America, as it is currently comprised. He detests white people and their culture and their supposed hegemony over the country. He wants a repressive, controlling central authority to take over every facet of the economy and your life. He detests liberty, he wants to repeal the 2nd Amendment and he wants to socialize, if not outright communize, the country.
