Demi with a big honking bush you won’t see on Striptease, which is a shame. BUY IT on Amazon
Well, after reading for months how homophobic, 19th century redneck attitudes of the folks in red-state America were limiting Brokeback’s sales in the heartland, I guess Hollywooders showed themselves to be hypocrites by chickening out on giving the any of the gay shepherds or their movie the Oscar (except Ang Lee for director, which might amount to a ‘career accomplishments’ award).
I guess the early wordthat leaked out saying many Academy members hadn’t even seen the movie because of distaste for the gay sex scenes, was true. Hey movie starlets, news flash- you know that AIDS disease you talk about incessantly (to the point it gets more dollars for research per death per year than cancer or heart disease)? Well that movie contained scenes that simulated the behavior that causes more AIDS cases than any other activity. So you ‘actors’ are double hypocrites. You can’t even face the lifestyle and behavior you are trying to norm for the rest of us.
Personally, I have no problem with gays and support gay rights and even gay marriage, but I don’t talk out one side of my mouth then act a different way when it counts, unlike self-proclaimed “progressive” Hollywood fucks.
This year’s show was reportedly the shittiest in recent memory, which is saying something for the Stinko Oscars
This was the most incoherent, inchoate Oscar telecast in recent memory. Nothing flowed, everything jarred, cut ins and cut outs weren’t preceded by necessary segues. Added up to a butt-ugly broadcast that even the biggest film buff had to gag through.
Stop the misery. End this hell on earth. 365 days is too little time before the next torturous show. Monday’s certain-to-be-dismal ratings will tell the Academy exactly where to shove Oscar. Alas, tonight, they kept jamming it down our throats.
(Opening of final envelope). And the winner is…
Best Oscar Reekfest
As George Clooney said, “(we’re) glad to be out of step with America”- yeah, out of step as in “do what I say, not what I do,” like driving big gas guzzlerswhile chastising the rest of us who need them for work and family when they could very well afford the alternatives, for calling for gun control and restrictions, while their bodyguards should be free to carry weapons.
Typical Hollywood hypocrisy.
