Marie and her girl lover Michelle
Marie and Michelle
by Marie LeClare
Marie met Michelle in kindergarten, and knew right away that she liked her, but when she tried to kiss her, Michelle pushed her away.
Although they got separated when Marie was sent off to catholic school, she still kept in contact with Michelle, who was also called Miki, which Marie couldn’t understand, but found out that when Miki was a baby she couldn’t pronounce Michelle, and out came Miki.
They became inseparable during school breaks and Summer holidays. If it wasn’t riding their bikes together it was going to the community swimming pool, or ice skating in the Winter.
Marie still knew she liked Miki and didn’t try to kiss her again until about the eighth grade, to which Miki said, “have you lost your brain cavity?”
Since it was the first day of Summer vacation Marie got to have Miki to her house for a sleep over. After spending most of the night giggling at funny stories, Marie always had a joke to tell, they slept in the next day.
