For the record: the team that works on docweasel.com (temporarily down, server crash) and docweasel.wordpress.com do not have a Myspace page, nor a Facebook.
We were recently apprised of the fact that there is someone purporting to be associated with the site using the name “docweasel” and they’ve even jacked one of our avatars: docweasel facebook faker.
There’s a MySpace docweasel as well, but that’s not us either. Also, a Fark docweasel as well as comments on several other blogs attributed to docweasel, some even linking back here.
If we’d have thought about it, it might have been a good idea to grab all the Facebook, Myspace, YouTube etc. docweasels, but where do you stop?
A good rule of thumb: if its not on this site or http://docweasel.com, its probably not one of us. Be warned. We won’t be held accountable for imposters, anyone can plug in a name on a comments thread. If its a Blogger or WordPress login required, then its a valid teamdocweasel comment, but they are few and far between.
