Regrettably Daily Caller just sucks ass now

and not good ass like this one.

There was a time Daily Caller was a welcome rebuttal to the left’s almost total monopoly on smart and smartass internet commentary and news blogging. However, as time goes on I find less and less to like about it.

I have all my fav blogs, plus Drudge, my freelance job feeds, my gmail and some other stuff I need to check 20-30x a day in a Firefox folder where I can “open all bookmarks in tabs” easily. DC has been there for years.

Finally, Death Rattle

Death Rattle, great horror and sci-fi comic, finally all 26 issues up, notated and credited. For some reason, this one took forever, probably because we couldn’t find a good source of info and had to pull contents from one site, credits and dates from another and transcribe all the notes from the inside covers, plus make all the slides.

The girl, Lorena, had worn her best clothing, which was poor but clean and not patched or worn. She had been waiting four days to talk to the Duke, who seemed disinclined to hear her case, which would entangle him in the affairs of a neighboring noble, with whom he’d already had disputes and gained ill favor.

This alone would little concern him, but the country’s politics were in turmoil, nobles were being stripped of title and estate, executed and exiled. And the Marquis had powerful friends in court. As a native Scot, the Duke was under a cloud of suspicion due to his birth. Taking the side of a maid trying to claim the birthright of an English nobleman for a bastard Scots get would not endear him down South.

Myst III Exile possible endings

Myst 3 has always been my favorite for several reasons. Good puzzles, but doable, gorgeous landscapes and buildings, intriguing story but most of all the acting of Brad Dourif, from such films as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Dune and Alien4. His tapestry-toga rending “NO NO NO NO NONONONONONO!” is reason enough to leave him there, just to hear it.
