Flight to Nashville

As I boarded the American Airlines flight for Nashville, I remembered back to the time I used to work as a flight attendant for American, and wondered if I would see any of the old crew I knew.
My thoughts were interrupted as I entered the cabin when an old friend yelled out “Marie!” It was Duane, the only gay attendant that I liked, and he pulled me aside to spend a few minutes catching up on the news and gossip.
As I made my way to my window seat I noticed 2 young women, sitting together, looking at me with their mouths wide open, so smiling at them I took my seat. I kept waiting for someone to take the aisle seat next to me but much to my relief it stayed empty.
As I opened my laptop computer, after takeoff, and tried to concentrate on a new story, the older woman came over to me and asked, in more of a statement than a question “You’re Marie LeClare aren’t you?” as she sat on the edge of the seat.
“Yes, that’s me,” I replied with a warm smile, as my eyes took in her fabulous figure.
