Liveleak was hosting the Fitna video, which, if you don’t know, is a video collage of Koranic scripture juxtaposed with images of Islamofascist violence.
Unremarkably , some adherents to the Religion of Peace are taking exception and protesting vehemently in their customary civilized and rational fashion.

They are threatened to kill Liveleak employees, so they caved and removed it:
Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.
This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.
Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture.
We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.

I have to say, I have known Hayden, LiveLeak’s main dude, for over a year now, and I am a little surprised at this. I know that they had been suffering hack attacks like mad since LL released “Fitna” and I don’t know anything about the threats he’s talking about, I can’t get a hold of anybody over there right now, but I remember when they put the fire to his feet regarding the placement of “Schoolyard fight” videos and he wouldn’t budge because of free speech beliefs.
I can’t help but think there has been actual physical contact of some type, phone calls to personal numbers, or packages to physical addresses which would lead him to believe that they are seriously being threatened. Yo Hayden, move to America, man, you can own a gun here, so if they came around it would be OK Corral time.

In solidarity, anyone who loves liberty and has access to a server should also host it, the same way many of us posted the Muhammed cartoons.
This helps take the heat off those who do have the courage to host them, and will defeat the efforts of Islamofascists to scour the videos from the internet. It will also help out on the bandwidth costs of those who do hosts them.
More than that, it will make a statement that we will not be intimidated.
