Dorm Mother

I had taken over the position of dorm mother because I enjoyed helping and interacting with the girls, and I really wasn’t that much older than they were, but acted more like an older sister than a mother.
Each year we had so many new girls and many of whom it was their first time away from home so they would have little problems that seemed monstrous to them but it reality were easy to solve.
For instance we had Nancy, who had a roommate that told everybody that she was adopted and was better than the rest of them, because their Mom’s had to have them and her Mom had picked her.
Nancy had been a cheerleader in high school but was just one of the girls here, and had a difficult time getting used to it.
