I like to title posts like that because it gets the terms “asshole” and “Jon Soltz” right out there in Google together, so hopefully when he Googlizes his name he gets

Anyway, Roger Simon has coherent thoughts on this, but my take is its just another example of the self-righteous, insufferable asininity of the leftoids.
The “official” explanation, on Kos, which I will not deign to link, says basically that they were trying to help the guy not break the law and regs by engaging in politics while in uniform. Except then it says he was lecturing Soltz on how adversity is good for the character and a good soldier soldiers on through it, building his character. How that’s politics only a leftwingnut would know.
This horse’s ass on Kos goes on to say the guy is a bad soldier, is stupid, is a scoff-law, and of course, its Boosh’s Fault© because he dumbed down the Army in order to fill the quota of cannon-fodder for this year’s bloodbath etc.
Everyone, including you, Mr. Kossass (I believe that’s the term they use to describe themselves, I read about it in Salon), knows your explanation is bullshit. Soltz the asshole lost his temper because lefties do not tolerate dissent, and especially not at one of their functions. Plus Asshole Soltz was aware a righty blogger was video-taping and he was frantic a point that went against dogma would be made, ON TAPE and soon on YouTube, putting the buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn on the Kossasses because a uniformed soldier told them where the bear shits in the buckwheat, and we cannot have the internet used by righty (the new epithet for the over-entitled white boy, replacing “Whitey”) to demean the left.
So Jon “asshole” Soltz goes batshit crazy and berates the guy and makes, yes, an asshole, or a “Soltz” of himself and really gives up some good video, it gets on Drudge front-page and every liberal blog is falling all over itself to declaim how bad it is to speak about politics and the war in uniform (except when protesting the war of course, then its brave and patriotic).
We know the game, but its funny how desperate and pathetic these leftwingnut fucks are. They must control the “narrative”. The “narrative” is all. Any tiny deviation from the “narrative” must be met with “pushback” and “emergency actions” until the “leftwingnuts” have exhausted their supply of “quotation marks”.
It goes so far that the lefties freaked out over a teensy story about how, as YearlyKossass, they were “supposedly” having one of those bar trivia things, the answer was *ping* Mother Teresa. The team that got it wrong booed the team that got it right. The reporter joked “it was a tough room- they even booed Mother Teresa later in the night” in a story about how they booed Hillary.
The left is so fucking defensive, touchy AND self-righteous that a million little pixels went into shock troop mode debunking the story in high dudgeon. WE WOULD NEVER BOO MOTHER TERESA, HOW DARE YOU SMEAR US SO!
Yeah, because the leftoids never smear anyone. Like calling a soldier who wants to exercise free speech “stupid” “unpatriotic” and “a bad soldier”.
