More of this needs to get out in the open. Kudos to Stossel for having the guts to speak truth to power. I am so fucking sick of Hollywood and LameStream Media types claiming to ‘speak truth to power’ by slamming President Bush and lying about Glowball Warmening and scaring the kids. Its criminal. Thank god for scientists like the ones in this piece that speak up.
I would think that scientists are by and large an ethical group, and fiercely proud of their integrity. They are in the process of damaging the good reputation people generally have about scientists by joining forces with nanny-staters and eco-nazies who find global warming to fit right in with their larger interests.
Now, if you are against the government control of virtually everything, and if you aren’t a vegan earth-firster, they can accuse you destroying the planet. Its exactly like the scare ad in the video- if you aren’t against global warming and ready to accept any and all restrictions and laws to ‘control’ it, you hate children.
The Glowball Warmening nuts will just keep moving the goalposts so that it may be 100 years before they are definitively proven wrong. But in the meantime, they are doing much mischief and passing many regulations that increase government control of our every-day lives.
Ahnold is one of the most egregious violators, but I think its more because California has always been insane, rather than his Germanic roots. I wish he would just go ahead and change parties, he bad-mouths the president and Republicans so much that he is a useful tool of the media when they need someone to bash the right, much like Lieberman for the Dems.
