There is finally a lot of negative stuff about Obama making it into the national consciousness. It’s going to have an effect. Obama has always been the candidate of “no come-back” ability. If not for the financial crisis, he’d be getting his ass pounded right now. That crisis is fading as a factor, as everything fades quickly in this information age.
I look for the “socialist” digs to start sticking. Also, the press is making a huge mistake in crowning Obama too early. People are beginning to imagine his reign, and they don’t like what they see on the horizon. Also, Wright ads are finally being run, which is actually perfect timing. Earlier, and they would have faded as well.
In this day and age, it’s hard to ride a wave very long. Obama is fundamentally a very weak candidate who rides waves. He hoped his latest would crest on Nov. 4. It will not. It has already crested.
He’s losing ground fast, and by the beginning of next week, I look for McCain to not only pull even, but to take the lead. I think McCain’ll win by taking most Bush states and adding PA and NH. Mike Barone thinks he will, and I take what Barone says to the bank.
Look for it. The tide is turning. The country does not want a socialist government. American’s don’t want the Democrats in complete control. Assholes like Barney Frank are talking about reducing military spending my 25%. The Dems are either too stupid to stfu, or under the delusion the rest of the country agrees with their far-left agenda.
We don’t. Obama will lose. I still think he’ll lose worse than Kerry or Gore. Things are moving, and they are only going to go one way. And once he’s down, Obama has never come back. He limped into the Dem nomination and he limped out of his own convention. The natural order of things is returning, and Obama will not be president. Bet the house on it.
