RCP asks the most obvious question ever.
If Hillary falters, why not Biden. Is there even the smallest doubt about why? Is there anyone who doesn’t come to the obvious conclusion in about a second?
Patterico makes the case for Obama’s decency. Why a right-blog has any business doing that, I have no idea. Let the lying lefties make that case, if Patterico’s thesis is correct, their abuse of the truth these 8 years will cause them to be disbelieved, even when telling the truth. But it won’t, because there is no downside to demonizing your opponents, we have found. If this election has taught us anything, it’s that decency goes unrewarded and the smearing of decent people works.
Rightblogs who never gave McCain wholehearted support now bitch about his loss
Fuck you Michelle Malkin, you fucking race-baiting, one-issue, immigrant bashing bitch. A good deal of the blame for McCain’s loss lies at your door. Having worked her ass off to sabotage McCain, Malkin could at least STFU for a day. If the conservatives had backed McCain whole-heartedly, there’s no reason he shouldn’t have won all the states Bush won, at least.
I don’t know. Maybe it’s a “freedom ain’t nothing but nothing left to lose”. I just detect an unnatural and irrational exuberance among the “true” right-blogs. Something is going on here, and I feel good about this election.
I don’t buy the new CW that Hillary’s new bete noire is Palin, and it’s in her interest to destroy Palin as her main rival as top dog woman politician. For on thing, they have vastly different constituencies. Sure, some Hillaryites might vote for McCain/Palin since Hillary isn’t on the ticket, but no Democrat pro-lifer is going to vote for Palin over Hillary.
What a delightfully silly and stupid name for what is obviously a humorous concoction by some right-wing wag: and it’s just a classic! You’d think it was serious, but no one could be that much of a dull witted, cretinous wanker, of course not.
Poofe was the architect of the insurgent campaign of Congressperson Orank Bojamba, the young, brash, photogenic, telegenic, hygenic outsider whom no one thought had a chance, a political Cinderella story, the community organizer who had made good. Poofe had done what everyone thought impossible.
He had brought a brilliant, courageous and scrupulously decent and honest, fun-loving, well-groomed, bi-partisan, post-racial, bi-pedal, ambidextrous (yet humble to a fault) political phenom to the brink of the presidency for the salvation of the huperson race.
