Jim Treacher posts Jon Stewart, being fairly even-handed with the Sherrod matter.
We can’t embed the vid, so go watch it, we’ll wait, then come back here for our comments. We’ll wait.
Ok, back? To me, the money line is:
“45 years ago, white men killed her father and a white jury refused to convict. So, I may be old-fashioned, but where I come from, you’re allowed to hate the ‘thing’ that killed your father.”
That ‘thing’ being, presumably, the entire white race. Further, you’re allowed to seek out and accept positions of authority where wield power allowing you to deny that hated race programs and aid to which they are legally entitled, and for which you are legally FORBIDDEN to deny them on the basis of race.
So Sherrod is completely exonerated for anything she does or says to or about any white person, forever, based on her tragic past history (sort of like Roman Polanski, I guess, not to equate her with a paedophile or anything).
According to Jon Stewart.
Some comedian once spoke about the fact his car was broken into by some black guy and a $1000 stereo was stolen. He demanded reparations from the entire black race based on this act. This kind of reminds me of that.

And finally, from Gay Patriot (who I call “GayTriot” for short)
