I’m getting a good laugh at all the liberal bloggers who are whistling past the graveyard, consoling themselves that Obama has again hit it out of the ballpark, that Wright has allowed him to distance himself gracefully, that the connexion is broken and there is now only clear sailing to 11-4 and President Obama, its all clear skies from here on out and there’s a bluebird on his shoulder, should he care to look and a great big rainbow shining above his halo.

Things have not gone great for Obama this month, although the press is doing their best to push the narrative that his speech has healed all wounds,

In his appearance on The View today he again addressed the Wright affair, falsely claiming Wright apologized, so maybe Barry does know how badly the thing has cut into his credibility, even though his enablers in the media are doing their best to airbrush Wright’s comments and leftwingnut blogs are claiming the scandal is behind him.

Michael Barone shows otherwise, and reminds us that we elect presidents by state, not nationally (just ask President Gore) and shows how Obama’s national numbers have suffered:

I personally had no idea of the rancor and hatred and depths of resentment held by the black populace of America, not just the radicals and fringe, but in the middle class, “Buppie” (Black Urban Professional), the church-going and “moderate” majority of blacks in the United States. The Wright affair, and the black reaction to it, has opened a lot of eyes.

The vast majority of the LameStreamMedia are still in the bag for Obama, but in pendulum fashion, the press likes to swing back and forth as a monolithic force. This is a natural thing: they build up, there is a big story to a Cinderella coming out of nowhere and being the front runner. Then, the only logical story is to knock him back down. Still, they have to have ammunition, and Obama is giving them plenty.

First there was the 100 years remark that Obama milked at partisan speeches to great acclaim from the dirty hippies, union thugs, welfare queens and Kool-Aid drinkers who frequent Democrat rallies. Who the fuck actually goes to political rallies? You have to be a hard core, no life having, jobless fuck to go stand around for hours waiting for the rockstar to show up and give a canned stump speech.

Rush Limbaugh is so full of shit you are barely worth paying attention to. Today he called McCain the lesser of 3 leftists. McCain’s ADA rating is about 20%. Clinton’s is 96% and Obama’s is 99%. Obama is rated the most liberal Senator in Congress.

Both Dems have stated they will immediately begin removing troops from Iraq if they are elected. McCain states forcefully he sees a long-time US presence in Iraq ala Germany, Japan, Korea etc. McCain has stated he will name judges in the mold of Alito and Roberts. Obama and Clinton will name Ginsbergs and Stevens’ – there is speculation one of them could name JOHN FUCKING EDWARDS in some kind of tradeoff, after he plays around at Attorney Gen. for a couple years.

He regularly posts individual news items (like an act of violence in Iraq) as if he were building some sort of case. (“See! Iraqis haven’t mastered Utopia yet! And its already been 5 years!”)

Or anytime any religious person is in the news for a negative reason, crime, infidelity, etc. (“See! All religious people are hypocrites and immoral monsters”)
