The entire site is 404’d, and the comments were the sweetest plum! A newspaper reporter (an endangered species anyway) acts like a total fuckhead dealing with an American soldier trying to protect him. He manages to be arrogant, insulting, ignorant and pathetically ignorant all at once. This post is a true thing of beauty. If I didn’t know better, I’d think it was a parody written to make reporters look bad (like they don’t look bad enough already.

I previously wrote a long comment about Mormonism on Dan’ Riehl’s site. The reason why I commented instead of doing a post about it is that it is currently affecting a close friend of mine. I see how they are using manipulation, coercion, guilt, and over-bearing full court press of “missionaries” coming over to her house, calling at all hours, pressuring her and pretty much playing on a very emotionally fragile person’s vulnerability to get them into Mormonism.

I would go as far to say that far from being a religion that improves the world and improves life, Mormonism is an absolute evil and pernicious force in America, and its practitioners, whether consciously or not, are spreading hate and intolerance, and using brute tactics and intimidation to do so.

via AOSHQ and Jules Crittenden TNR has at long last admitted the Beauchamping of its series of war diaries, in a long-winded, self-serving, blame-avoiding, reckless charge hurling piece with a much obfuscation and distortion as its original Storm Troopers correspondent used to throw around.

All this is unsurprising. Who in the world would expect Foer and Co. to gracefully admit they are unprofessional hacks who lied and stone-walled when faced with the truth that their soldier-reporter was, in fact, a fiction writer, not a journalist.

Its hard to know where to begin on all the bullshit dished by Dem strategist Bill Beckels in this article. A lot of what he says about Democrat trends would be valid with any other candidate, were Obama not the standard bearer. In fact, his analysis would be a pretty good fit with Hillary as the candidate. With all the negative press the Republican party has been getting its not strange the country is down on the GOP.
