The Next Right…a magnificent rant! Unfortunately, too much of the blogosphere has ‘gone commercial’, with many of the more successful bloggers trying to imitate the tendencies of paid media. Too often, posts are written (or not written) out of concern for the fallout from a bigger (we hate the term “A-list”) blog which may cease linking them. That’s why (docweaselblog is) so refreshing in its candor and devil-may-care demeanor. It reminds us of a time when more of the blogosphere was this way.

Here at the mighty DWDOTCOM site we’re reorganizing the site and gathering posts, articles, humor pieces, music and movie reviews, some of which were ‘front-paged’ and never included in their respective category sections, reposting some of the ones that got the most reaction and views, categorizing those which were never organized, attributing to the correct authors those which were originally just posted under “docweasel” in the system even though they were signed by Vile or Sunny.

Due to blahging, commenting and reading blahgz by others and comments by others, I’ve felt closer to the ‘action’ in this election and more a part of the process than any other political event in my life.

I guess its like that for all of us ‘citizens’ who used to always just read the paper and watch newscasts and the politicians and pundits and reporters were the ‘inside’ people and we’d only read about what was going on later maybe, filtered through a book or magazine article.
