What a load of steaming crap. For Christ’s sake, every time I look at an entertainment story either some minority or some batty feminist is bitching about the portrayal of their particular victim group. East Indians are treated relatively respectfully on the Simpsons. I happen to be majority Italian-American heritage (and a Catholic) and both my little tribes are treated like home-made shit on the Simpsons but I don’t whinge constantly about it and I damn sure wouldn’t make a whiny ass documentary about it.
The only Indian on TV, who has had many positive episodes built around him, would they be happier if he were just removed? Probably. They collect skins because they are a sign of power. We could destroy the entire show by bitching and whinging and crying until it was vanilla and unoffensive and too stupid to watch. Funny thing is, it’s already anti-military, anti-religion (no matter what they try to say) and blatantly left-wing, but they still can’t win against the SJW, who are never satisfied of anything or anyone’s purity and keep moving the goalposts anyway.
For fuck’s sake. The Italians on the Simpsons run the gamut from a stereotypical Chef Boyardee who speaks pidgen English (I can imagine if they had a black Aunt Jemima type character with a do-rag who talked like Mammy “Yassah Massah Simp-son, I’se gwine to fix dat dinner raaaat up for ya’ll!”) and the other Italians are Fat Tony and a bunch of greasy-haired goombahs who have swindled the elementary school, murdered people (we see them disposing of bodies repeatedly) control organized crime in Springfield and dress and act in a gauche approximation of the Sopranos but not like any Italian family I’ve come in contact with, and my great grandparents and father’s mother came over from Italy in the 1930’s, spoke Italian at home and I had a huge extended family and Italian conclave in the NE Ohio town I lived in as a child. Hard-working, law abiding and they spoke English with no accent other than Ohioan.
Same with movies. Where’s the positive Italian characters to match the hundreds of black (particularly) families they bend over backwards to portray? I guess it’s the squeaky wheel syndrome, so maybe we ought to start constantly complaining and whinging and bitching and destroy all the Godfather and Goodfellas type movies the way blacks want to destroy anything portraying the Civil War era that’s not Roots.
Clancy the Irish policeman is corrupt, incompetent and borderline r*tarded, the Italians are all criminals or pizza chefs who are the Italian version of Aunt Jemima, but a fully-rounded Indian character who has had many episodes, almost all in a positive way, built around him is ‘problemactic’. Man, flock you whingers.
And to make a fucking DOCUMENTARY about how your tribe is portrayed on a cartoon. Wah wah wah, if only the Indian people had a movie industry of their own to portray themselves they way they ought… oh yeah BOLLYFUCKINGWOOD, they do. Jesus, STFU seriously. Have we reached peak babyman and bitchwoman yet? Isn’t about time the sane people fought back? Tired of this shit, tired tired tired.
