The coalition of angry Clintonites has accused the Democratic Party of stealing the presidential nomination from Mrs. Clinton and were further outraged when Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama passed over Mrs. Clinton as his running mate in favor of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware.
Many of these renegade Democrats vow to back likely Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain or sit out the election, despite Mrs. Clinton’s wholehearted endorsement of Mr. Obama and her speech Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention in which she made a plea for party unity.

The more the leftwingnuts whinge, the surer you can be that Obama took some serious damage tonight, on top of the Wright Stuff and BitterCling blood loss. And there’s a new article by a Democrat trendster saying Obama will certainly get an clutch cargo classic ass-whoopin’ this fall, the question is by how much?
By all accounts, Obama sucked at tonight’s debate. Righties like Marc Ambinder point out that yeah, the questions were rough and more on the personal level than on policy, but that the personal is at least as important as the policy stuff.
A president is a politician, first and foremost, not a policy wonk. He has people for that. The president has to have the political skills to get the public behind his policy, and the skills to manipulate, stroke and threaten the Congress into acting on it. If he can’t handle questions from news reporters, how is he going to handle foreign leaders during negotiations?

I’m getting a good laugh at all the liberal bloggers who are whistling past the graveyard, consoling themselves that Obama has again hit it out of the ballpark, that Wright has allowed him to distance himself gracefully, that the connexion is broken and there is now only clear sailing to 11-4 and President Obama, its all clear skies from here on out and there’s a bluebird on his shoulder, should he care to look and a great big rainbow shining above his halo.
We want to congratulate our favorite band and namesake, docweaselband, for being selected as the 2008-09 NFL Season Game Day band for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Gate C. There are bands playing for the tail-gaters and line-standers at all four Raymond James Stadium gates, A-D. Gate C is a cherry location because it is the nearest to the tailgating contingent.
So, congrats guys, and come out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers homegames and enter Gate C to enjoy the song stylings of DocWeaselBand. Free T-shirts and other goodies will be given out at the gigs.

In his appearance on The View today he again addressed the Wright affair, falsely claiming Wright apologized, so maybe Barry does know how badly the thing has cut into his credibility, even though his enablers in the media are doing their best to airbrush Wright’s comments and leftwingnut blogs are claiming the scandal is behind him.
