on past MP to the comics
Good couple of weeks, the MP stuff is in the rear-view now, might revisit in the future but would have to be very driven to do so, there is much more there than ever was on the original shtml site, we had none of the albums, no Live at Hollywood Bowl. The Meaning of Life DVD had just come out at the time and we did the transcription together as a group with one poor intern trying to type everyone’s interpretations without pausing the movie (we just watched it numerous times and fixed each time.)
Anyway, that’s all done for now and on to the comics, which went rather quick, other than the scanning, which was brutal. Then the color correction, resizing, thumbnailing, watermarking and coding the pages. Rather than dribble them out I just put them all online at once.
FFF and Cherry are about done today, might get on to RedMeat, which is a risk as its a going concern and there don’t seem to be any other repositories complete online. As such, it wouldn’t be worthwhile to spend a great deal of time on them. We’ll see. Maybe limit searches and rely on people stumbling on them?
That Awkward Moment (2014) 3 shallow guys chasing girls, one after his wife dumped him, the girls, especially the blonde one, is a major bitch so it accurately reflects young adults mating behaviour. The guys want to get laid, the girls don’t know wtf they want, but they blame that on the guys. Zac Efron’s character had the best take, don’t get in a relationship at that age, it will end in tears and have damn little joy. Best advertisement in the world for ‘fuck ’em and leave ’em’ philosophy. Ultimately depressing moviewith not near enough tits and ass for the subject matter. Score:2 good to see Miles Teller working!
